M.Ost., PGCert. Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Master of Osteopathy degree, Postgraduate certificate in specialist paediatric osteopathic practice, Registered GOsC (General Osteopathic Council U.K.), OAO Member

Hania graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (UCO) in London England with a four-year Master of Osteopathy (M.Ost) degree. Throughout her training Hania developed an interest in treating children and went on to complete post-graduate training in specialist paediatric osteopathic practice at the UCO.

Hania is very passionate about osteopathy and its role in promoting whole body health and well-being. Her practice aims to engage with each individual’s unique musculoskeletal system using a variety of manual techniques including joint mobilization, deep tissue massage, Kinesio Taping and other gentle techniques. Hania often follows up these sessions by providing home exercises. She recognizes that individual lifestyle and work can have a significant influence on overall health. Hania likes to get to know her patients and is always aiming to deliver the best quality care to each individual.

Hania has a strong sporting background including Volleyball, Netball and Sailing. She taught sailing to both adults and children in the UK for a few years alongside her osteopathic studies. She realizes the importance of returning back to beloved sports and activities as quickly and safely as possible.

“Osteopathy for babies is a very gentle, safe form of manual therapy. It involves assessment and treatment of the musculoskeletal system and surrounding structures. Osteopathy can help to soothe and relax your baby.”

Robyn Synnott, PT

Pelvic Health and Orthopedic Physiotherapist, Yoga Teacher MScPT, BKin (Hons), CYA-E-RYT500 Certified in Acupuncture Advanced Skills in Pelvic Health, Labour and Birth, and Breastfeeding

Robyn Synnott aspires to help women learn to trust and appreciate their body, to empower them to take charge of their health, and to focus their treatment on what is most important to them.  She has a passion for helping mother’s to create a strong bond with their infants.
She has worked as a physiotherapist in the Halton region (Burlington, Oakville, Milton) for the past 10 years. She began working as an orthopedic physiotherapist with a strong focus on osteopathic treatment techniques and pain science. In 2014, she began to narrow her focus to women’s health and she completed extensive training in pelvic health. Robyn is one of a select few Canadian physiotherapists that have gone through advanced skills training in labour and birth, trauma, and breastfeeding support.
Robyn’s treatments use the biopsychosocial-spiritual perspective and consider the person or the mother-infant relationship in a holistic way. She will help you to determine what is most important to you and then focus the treatment on that.  Whether, she is seeing someone for women’s pelvic health, pediatric pelvic health, or breastfeeding support, treatments will involve a combination of body work (craniosacral therapy, calming of the nervous system, soft tissue release), movement exercises and education, pain and neuroscience learning for your body and mind, positioning, and changes to your daily activities.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and son. She loves to garden, cook, hike, and practice yoga in her spare time.  When she gets the chance, she loves to travel and explore new places and cultures.
