Snoezelen® Space Community Time
Thanks to our Partnership with Flaghouse, the global leaders in Snoezelen®, Little Bird will have the most recent Snoezelen® products (from Sensory Magic, to the Infinity Panel, and much more). We will be offering community time for individuals, families and groups to come and interact in the Snoezelen® space for a small fee. For larger or private groups, we will be offering separate rates.
Classes: Buteyko Breathing Methods
The Buteyko method is named after its founder Doctor Konstantin Buteyko. Originally founded as an effective drug-free approach for the management of asthma and other breathing related problems. The method has since shown to be successful in re-training nasal (nose) breathing, gaining all the benefits that correspond with optimized breathing. Buteyko breathing is for everyone. Even more however, for those with asthma or allergies, mouth breathing tendencies, or athletes looking to improve their endurance, reduce their heart rate, and improve oxygenation.
The Buteyko method is neither a medical treatment nor procedure. After learning directly from Patrick McKeown (a student of Dr. Buteyko), our Little Bird team will teach the Buteyko methods through a series of lectures with both in class and take home activities/exercises.
